Have be busy, etc.

Well, I have been busy with cancer treatments. We have not had time for much this summer. We did go on one summer trip with the whole family in June. I didn't get any pictures, sorry. I was fortunate to be able to go on our Stake Trek in July. It was great, I was able to manage my pain so that I could go with Glen, Ryan and Thomas. It was great. After Trek, the pain kicked up and the tumor had started to grow again. So in August I started chemo again. It has been a rough couple of months. But we hope that things start to go better again.

So sorry

It has been forever that I have blogged! Well most of you know that my life has been upside down for about 6 months. Last fall I had really bad back pain, the Dr. thought it was just normal back pain, but finally in January I found out that I had a tumor on my spine. Did a bunch of test/scans and on January 19th found that I had cancer. So February 1st I started treatments, radiation and chemo. I have now been done with treatments for about 5 weeks, and I am finally feeling so much better. It has been a long hall, but the pain is almost nothing now. Unless I am very tired at the end of the day. I don't know much about what I do now. I am in limbo. Just waiting to have a PET scan to see if the tumor and cancer are gone. Not sure when I will have the PET scan. Maybe May or June. Sorry no pictures. Maybe at another time. Just thought I would up date why the huge span of no blogging.

Some Summer '09 pictures

Way to happy in the morning!!

We went camping as a family over the 24th of July.
Saturday morning it was a little cool and had been raining.
But we were together, so happy!

Amanda happy to be 18 years old!

Wow, does time fly! Axel on his 1st Birthday. Not to sure
of what was happening.

Axel playing in the little pool before it got to cold, but wouldn't
sit in the water. Loved to sit and splash.

Moving the trusses into place, this was a fun thing to watch.

Jared helping on the Garage.

Look at that cake flame! Thomas 22 years old. Our children
are getting so old.

Glen hanging out on the edge of the new garage/shed.

These two just being good friends and having fun in Grandpa's chair.

Our little amigo. Can you believe his dad put this on with
magic marker! It did come off, thankfully.

Just a few things that happened over the Summer!
Note: Glen got another monster Elk! Pic to come.

The Stake Float

This is the story teller he is about 9 feet tall he is reading
Pioneer tales to the forest animals. (His head is moving side to side)

The frog on the toad stool his feet are actually moving
in the back.

Mr. Moose, this guy is huge! He is about 10 feet long with
his hooves resting on a log. (Amanda and I helped glitter him)

The five of us in front of the float. These pictures really
don't do it justice it is just awesome!
It was so fun to be involved with the making,
even if it was just a little. It was so much fun seeing
it come together.

Camping/fishing with Jay & Barbara

Glen on the pontoon boat at Smith & Morehouse reservoir.
The sun was just coming up on the lake.

Jay out standing in the lake.

Isn't it just beautiful! We even saw a beaver paddling along
and flipping his tale.
This was just a short but oh so fun trip. We will have to
do it again Jay and Barb.
