Some Summer '09 pictures

Way to happy in the morning!!

We went camping as a family over the 24th of July.
Saturday morning it was a little cool and had been raining.
But we were together, so happy!

Amanda happy to be 18 years old!

Wow, does time fly! Axel on his 1st Birthday. Not to sure
of what was happening.

Axel playing in the little pool before it got to cold, but wouldn't
sit in the water. Loved to sit and splash.

Moving the trusses into place, this was a fun thing to watch.

Jared helping on the Garage.

Look at that cake flame! Thomas 22 years old. Our children
are getting so old.

Glen hanging out on the edge of the new garage/shed.

These two just being good friends and having fun in Grandpa's chair.

Our little amigo. Can you believe his dad put this on with
magic marker! It did come off, thankfully.

Just a few things that happened over the Summer!
Note: Glen got another monster Elk! Pic to come.

The Stake Float

This is the story teller he is about 9 feet tall he is reading
Pioneer tales to the forest animals. (His head is moving side to side)

The frog on the toad stool his feet are actually moving
in the back.

Mr. Moose, this guy is huge! He is about 10 feet long with
his hooves resting on a log. (Amanda and I helped glitter him)

The five of us in front of the float. These pictures really
don't do it justice it is just awesome!
It was so fun to be involved with the making,
even if it was just a little. It was so much fun seeing
it come together.

Camping/fishing with Jay & Barbara

Glen on the pontoon boat at Smith & Morehouse reservoir.
The sun was just coming up on the lake.

Jay out standing in the lake.

Isn't it just beautiful! We even saw a beaver paddling along
and flipping his tale.
This was just a short but oh so fun trip. We will have to
do it again Jay and Barb.

Easter Break

Anna found some old curlers, so I put one in her hair.

Anna loves her hair. Amanda did her hair up so cute.

Rachel was having fun with Axel's hair, this is our little Alfalfa.
He is so much fun and cute. Those beautiful Brown eyes.

We went to St. George over the Easter Break. We stayed at a great campground
near St. George. It was Glen, me, Amanda and Ryan who went.
Here are some pictures of us on our trip.

Amanda wanted to catch a lizard but this is all we got/his tail.
It was still wiggling in Glen's hand.

Amanda & Ryan sitting on the rocks. It was perfect weather on Thursday
it was about 65 degrees. That is just about perfect for me.

Here are Amanda and Ryan standing on a rock with a reservoir behind them.
The lake was right next to the campground. Amanda and
I walked to the lake. Glen and Ryan rode their bikes.
On Friday morning Glen and Ryan went on a mountain bike
trail, they had a lot of fun.
It was a great trip. I would love to go back sometime, but it
will have to be in the spring, St. George is just to hot other wise!

I haven't updated since Christmas

Well I haven't bogged for about 2 months. It has been a very busy year so far. Ryan was still swimming. Then Relief Society has kept me very busy. I also had to do my first funeral as RS President. Then in January my very best friend and walking partner/Eileen went in the hospital. Then on February 8th, she passed away. She fought breast cancer (second time) for the past four years. Eileen and her husband Ted are the friends that we went to Alaska fishing with last summer. She is such a great person and friend. I miss her.
Axel just chill'n. How, cute is he?

Anna loves sitting in Grandpa's chair and looking like a big girl.
